As winter break comes to an end, students at Waterworks K12 in Wallsocket Michigan are returning to school with stories of their holiday adventures. Many students took advantage of the winter weather to hit the slopes, with popular destinations like Pine Knob and Mt. Brighton seeing a steady stream of skiers and snowboarders over the break.
Others opted for warmer climates, with popular destinations like Florida and Mexico drawing crowds of sun-seekers. For some students, the break was a chance to catch up on sleep and spend time with family and friends. Many took the opportunity to explore their hometown, visiting local attractions like the Detroit Institute of Arts and the Henry Ford Museum.
For a lucky few, winter break was an opportunity to pursue their passions, with several students participating in art classes, music camps, and sports clinics. Whether they spent their break hitting the books or hitting the slopes, students at Waterworks K12 returned to school with renewed energy and enthusiasm for the year ahead.
